For Children & Adolescents:
I have had the privilege of working with adolescents as an ally in their struggles, offering guidance and support during some of the most formative years of their lives. Together, we’ve addressed issues of identity, self-esteem, and the challenges of growing up. Looking ahead, I am enthusiastic and deeply dedicated to continuing this vital work, helping young people navigate their paths with confidence and resilience.
For Adults:
Most of my experience is with the adult population, working through a broad range of issues, from academics to relationships, identity and self-image, confidence, marriages, children, depression, anxiety, postpartum concerns, and everything in between. Each individual’s journey is unique, and I strive to provide the support and tools necessary for navigating these challenges and finding clarity and balance.
Therapeutic Approaches:
My therapy approach is eclectic, grounded in the Rogerian humanistic approach, and inspired by ideas from narrative practices. It is mindfulness-based, trauma-informed, and queer-affirmative, integrating elements from CBT, DBT, and ACT. This blend allows me to tailor the therapeutic experience to each individual’s unique needs, offering a compassionate and supportive space for healing and growth.
Invitation to Therapy:
Life can often feel overwhelming, and it’s easy to lose sight of who we are and what we genuinely need in the whirlwind of it all. I believe every person is an expert in their own life, and sometimes, they need a little help finding their way back. Taking the step towards therapy can feel challenging, but it’s also a powerful act of self-care and growth. I’m here to offer you a safe, welcoming space to let go, breathe, and reconnect with your true self. Together, we can explore your thoughts and emotions, empowering you to embrace who you are and want to be. Your journey matters, and I’m here to walk it with you.
