I feel deeply humbled and honored to be welcomed into another person’s inner world; it’s one of the most meaningful responsibilities I can imagine. Laura Simonis Expertise:

For Adults:

On the path to self-discovery, I help individuals explore their identity, values, and inner world—especially during times of transition or uncertainty. I offer therapy for a wide range of concerns, including low mood, depression, anxiety, adjustment to life changes, trauma and sexual trauma, grief and bereavement, addiction, and relationship difficulties.
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply curious to understand yourself better, our work together can help bring clarity, perspective, and emotional relief.

For Couples and Family Counselling:

In my work with couples and families, I use a systemic approach to help improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen connections. I support couples in navigating challenges such as recurring arguments, emotional distance, parenting conflicts, or rebuilding trust after ruptures. With families, I help uncover and shift unhealthy dynamics, allowing each member to feel heard, respected, and understood. Therapy becomes a space where emotions can be safely expressed, needs can be clarified, and new patterns of relating can be created together. My goal is to help relationships move from disconnection and frustration toward understanding, empathy, and lasting change.

Therapeutic Approaches:

As a trained behavioral therapist, my work is grounded in evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). At the same time, I integrate elements from ego-state therapy, schema therapy, and hypnotherapeutic techniques. I am particularly passionate about working with inner parts of the self. I believe that healing occurs when we listen to and integrate the various (often conflicting) parts within us. This inner work can lead to a deeper sense of wholeness, emotional clarity, and self-compassion.

Invitation to Therapy:

“Know all the theories, master all the techniques, but as you touch a human soul be just another human soul“ (C.G. Jung)
I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Every person is unique, and I tailor my work to fit your individual needs, experiences, and goals. I see you as the expert of your own life—my role is to walk alongside you with empathy, curiosity, and care. I offer a safe and supportive space where you can explore your inner world, strengthen your resources, and move toward healing and self-understanding at your own pace.
